Crafted Marie Inspired Party from Vintage Farmhouse

I’m not sure if you’ve been following the posts from Vintage Farmhouse leading up to her birthday party. Blog mistress Nicky is not just a mother and birthday girl, she knows her away around a canister of glitter. She also knows how to make impressive displays with simple things like crepe paper. Watch and drool.

Simple sachets hand stamped and filled with lavendar

Stamped badges trimmed with pleated crepe and ribbon.

Dessert table with tiered serving plates (for visual interest) and a dramatic streamer backdrop.

Hand-glittered birthday cake banner

Gum paste flowers she shaped herself. Mad respect, Nicky. Mad respect.

Simple paper Birthday banner

A tableau of fans and masquerade masks

And finally…

An Eiffel Tower cake tower SHE MADE AND DESIGNED HERSELF.

More photos are available on her site here and here.
A mask printable is available here. An Eiffel Tower tutorial here.
H
er site has plenty of great decor posts (I heart her chandeliers and shabby chic bedding) and will give you plenty of good ogle time. Take a look and tell ‘er I sent ya. 🙂

Love it! Your party was awesome. You’re a crafter after my own heart. I’d love to put on a party like that but as yet have not had the time. I’m hopeful for the summer, however. What did guests like best? What would you do differently for next time? Exactly how awesome was it?
